Is it just me that gets into these moods or do other people also feel like punching random vagrants? Because seriously, if you are begging on the side of the road and I acknowledge you and say sorry, why cant you move on? Why must you harass me and stand at my window and point at your empty stomach or ask for a cigarette when I don’t smoke?

Why cant you walk away and leave me alone you persistent little vagrant. why?

Because, the next vagrant that doesn’t walk away is almost guaranteed a punch in the face. #JustSaying

Feb Blog Challenge #28 – What is your centre? What is it that you bring to the world?

Lets be honest here, if I knew the answer to today’s challenge, the last challenge of February, I would be in my ideal job with everything that I needed and wanted. Unfortunately, I am not in that spot and I really don’t know what I bring to the world. I don’t know what drives me, or what I bring to the world.

If you ask the people around me (which I did) they will probably say something along the lines of “funny, sarcastic, loyal or honest, but again, that’s not my center. That’s not something I bring to the world.

So to end off this blog challenge I have no option but to state that until further notice, what I bring to the world is a work in progress. I promise to try to figure it out, I promise to keep working on who I am, who I want to be in order to be something or someone who others look up to, so that I can make an honest difference in the world.

Feb Blog Challenge #27 – Your fears

I can sit here and type about the little things, clowns, cockroaches, locusts, you know the creepy crawlies that can crawl/fly into your hair and wriggling and squirm and might never get out.

But truth be told, my biggest fear would be to lose someone I love. Yes, I have experienced death, friends, grand parents, but it’s not the same. The thought of losing my child, my husband, my dad, my mom, my sister or anyone else that I am incredibly close to terrifies me.

It terrifies me so much that when I stop to think about it, like now for instance, I can actually feel the start of a panic, my eyes start to water at the thought and I really don’t think I will be able to deal with it.

I think I might be one of those people who shut down, completely close themselves off from the rest of the world and try to cope.

I would rather leave this world before them than watch one of them leave.

I have a problem with this post.

I don’t have a problem with me and my life to be up on the interwebs, I don’t mind people knowing me, knowing my quirks, what makes me tick and what sends me flying off into the dark spaces nobody wants to join me in. I do however have an issue with putting my family out there.

If they wanted to be on the internet with their own profiles etc then they would have their own blogs, Twitter and FB pages.

So, on that note, I am incredibly hesitate to introduce my family to you guys but know that I do have a family, a smaller immediate family and a larger inherited family whom I love dearly.

Feb Blog Challenge #24 – If you could change anything about yourself physically what would it be and why?

Easy enough since there are 2 things I have wanted to change about myself for the longest time.

My eyesight (that’s physical right?) – I have terrible vision and hate having to wear either contacts or glasses. I would love nothing better than to wake up and see things clearly each and everyday.
My weight – I am overweight, I hate it. I am doing what I can, I’ve lost 10kg but still have way too much to go, so that would be the thing that I would change. Yes, I am looking for a quick fix – I am a sloth that way

Ah yes, 5 twitter friends – a little bit difficult since I follow so many people but the ones that stick out to me would be:

Mother City Mom (@BronwynH1981) mothercitymom.wordpress.com – we seem to have loads in common, age, marriage, kidlet, town and I reckon she could teach me a thing or two about makeup and beautifying myself

Corinne Lalla (@corinne_lalla) maidentomotherhood.wordpress.com – we read the same books, both love to be a little slothlike in our parenting skills and our hubbys suck at the best of times

Zombie Phil (@Zombie_Phil) – this dude makes me laugh. He is straight to the point, says it like it is and doesn’t care what anyone else thinks. I respect that.

Lauren Allott (@momallott) lifeinlollyland.net- She makes me laugh and we have the same name for Petes sake – isn’t that enough?

Cath Jenkins (@cathjenkin) http://www.cathjenkin.co.za – Only recently been interacting with this lovely but from what I have seen, she has a great personality so I reckon we would drink well together

Feb Blog Challenge #22 – Your dream wedding

I’ve been married for 7 years, to a man who drives me absolutely bonkers when he is there and even worse when he isn’t. He infuriates me to the point where I pull an Ally McBeal and picture myself slamming his head into a wall (or something equally as violent), but at the same time, he is my best friend. I can’t imagine him not being in my life. I can’t imagine anyone better than him. We are the complete opposite to each other and somehow, that works.

We got married at Bloemendal and our ceremony was in the cellar dungeons, yup, we had a medieval wedding and honestly, I wouldn’t change anything.

We had our closest friends and family present and we had each other! Thats all I ever wanted!
